Visiting The United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is an ideal destination if you are looking for a country in which you will have an incredibly wide range of possibilities available to you when it comes to deciding how you would like to spend your time. First thing that I would do if I were you is to head for London. Whatever your budget, there will be accommodation available for a price in your range: you could stay in a four star hotel or a cheap bed and breakfast and when it comes to transport you can get black cabs everywhere or you can get an oyster card for the tube and bus.

Have a look online to see what events are occurring in the city’s galleries and museums. Lots are free and where you go will depend a lot on what is being shown where during your visit. I would also suggest that you spend a day or so just wandering through the city, taking in the breathtaking architecture in the city’s centre and taking a detour through a few of the royal parks in which you might stumble upon an Anish Kapoor or go boating on one of the many lakes.

Another great way to spend your time in the United Kingdom is by going on a spa break. There are myriad spa facilities all over the country due to the exceptionally pure waters that flow down from the country’s Highland areas. If spa breaks in England are your cup of tea, you could also head even further north for spa breaks in Scotland where some of the water is even naturally carbonated when it comes out of the ground. And if you are heading north of Hadrian’s Wall to enjoy the water, I would also recommend that you take the time to visit a few distilleries and enjoy some of the single malt whisky that the country has to offer as well.
