For me this was the most beautiful fortess I have ever seen in my life. Anyway, it was sixteen century fortresss that was pushing away the invasion of the Dutch and Britain army. El Moroo stands nowadays, to be an amazing monomentum that is showing the domination of the Spanish This names was given by the the King Phillip II of Spain. This remarkable place has a history of nearly 400 years and it is an emblematic place of Puerto Rico. You can easily find there a lot of historical war document and artifacts discovering the mystery in Puerto Rico history.

As every educational and cultural center in the world, Cambridge is also a place where you can learn about the major historical facilities there. King’s College Chapel is the first Gothic building that I’m going to represent. This is the first and biggest later Gothic building in Cambridge. I will continue with Cambridge University Library, where some of the best and important articles and book are keeping. To be more specific, this is a place of over 7 million books&magazines and contains over 1 million maps. Of course you can touch to some of those on the exhibition which is opening 6 months of the year.

FitzWillian Museum will be my last stop across my journey in Cambridge. The nickname of this museum is “the finest small museum in Europe”. Despite his size, inside you can see a lot of historical paints, antiquities and etc. . Some of them were gathered from the Western Europe and Mediterranean regions. If you check the England historical places, this Museum will be one of them.

Union Street Christmas Lights

It was an amazing evening in 2009 when Union Street Christmas Lights switch on took place. The date was 15th November and the switch on was performed by Ellie Ewen who was only 7 years old and the Lord Provost Peter Stephen. The whole event was adorable and everyone in Aberdeen could feel the Christmas spirit. The theme was the twelve days of Christmas. There were ploughs and gritters which symbolically cleaned the road for the Christmas carriage of Ellie Ewen and the Lord Provost. Actually it was a magnificent old vehicle and as it passed each light switched on. It was like fairytale with all the confetti launched in the air. There were six ladies dressed as geese and the heads of their costumes were rolling along spectators so that kids could touch them. The were also nine dressed ladies dancing with nine Lords. And the music of Portlethen Pipe Band created a great Christmas atmosphere. Aberdeen events were a great experience to all spectators.

An Endless Vacation In Venice

Now we will share one interesting news from Venice. There is an information that Italian authorities kept a German cruise ship and its crew of 221 members for over a month, because of 850 000 pounds depth of unpaid wages. Delphin Group – this is the name of the company that owns the ship. The reason for 221 unpaid salaries of the crew members is that the company field for bankruptcy month ago this situation happened.

The Delphin cruise ship docked in Venice on 16th of October. The 500 passengers quit the vessel, but the crew remained on board. Members of the crew are mostly Germans, Ukrainians and Filipinos. Hence, some of them are not citizens of Europe Union and do not have visas they need to step on Italian land. On the other hand even they had the opportunity doing that, they could lose their chance to be paid out if they left the ship.

The solution of this problem is not cleared. But we hope that Venetian authorities will know soon how to solve it.
