Christmas in Puerto Rico is not the same as in the most places in the world. The holidays in that wonderful place starts in November and can continue until the middle of January. This more than long revelry includes some magnificent island traditions.

Puerto Rican versions of Christmas Carols aguinaldos can be heard from 15th to 24th of December. If you decide to spend the Christmas holidays in Puerto Rico you will catch a Parranda as locals call to the carolers, who will move around the neighbourhood singing aguinaldos.

Many tourists come in Puerto Rico to spend their holiday and celebrate the Christmas holidays on the golden beaches. If you want to make tan while in the other part of the world is snowy winter you should book a hotel room months before. There are many hotels that offer special holiday  packages at lower prices. Hilton Puerto Rico supplies special Puerto Rican Christmas dinner which contains lechon (roast pork), pasteles (patties) and arroz con gandules (rice' n beans). Mario Ferro as a worldwide culinary star and certified executive chef in Caribe Hilton hotel in Puerto Rico will prepare the most delicious traditional Christmas dessert tembbleque.

At the end of the season for most of the island is El Dia de los Tres Reyes Magos or ' Three Kings Days'. It is noticed with a large celebration in San Juan. If you want to spend an unforgettable holiday, Puerto Rico is the place you should go.
