The most famous architecture faces of Venice

Venice is one of the cities in Europe that is known for its buildings and architecture style. It is the city of artists, musicians, comedians, writers and also architects. For Instance Andrea Palladio is the most famous Venetian architect. It is known because of the fact that from his name, the term “palladiano”, which actually means Palladio’s style, takes inspiration referring to a style that has to do with Roma and Greek Classicism.
Many churches, villas, urban residences are designed by Palladio. One of the most famous is Valenza- the Olympic Theatre. Some other significant works of his are San Georgio Maggiore and the villa “La Rotonda”.

Actually it is very interesting to be known that his style and works influenced European and American architects. As a proof for that is the monumental White House in Washington, being an official residence of the President.
Another interesting person in Venetian architecture is Mr. Giorgio Massari. He was one of the most important Venetian Architects of his time. What he used to do is to combine his classical style with Palladian and baroque elements. He also constructed both in civil and religious ambient. Some of his great works are the Grassi Palace, Ca’ Rezzonico and the façade of the Academy of Fine Arts.  If we talk about churches, then we must mention that Massari has constructed the Chiesa dei Gesuiti, Chiesa di San Marcuola and Chiesa della Pieta.
If you planning to spend some of your off days in Venice and searching in the Internet for hotels in Venice, you can also find some information about Venice great architectural buildings. Being already there you can ask for them at the receptions desk in the  Venice hotel, so that you wouldn’t miss anything.
