Breaking from the Fast Lane: Art in Dusseldorf



In a world of ever advancing and quickly connecting media and technology, it is a wonder that the admiration and appreciation of physical and material art hasn’t waned as a result. With the ability to access almost constant stimulation, it would seem that the quiet contemplation of a painting or a sculpture might be too slow in today’s world. However, we know this is not the case. In spite of the fast-pace of life, or perhaps because of, the ability to silently contemplate a work of art, or discuss it with others, is an activity that keeps of us connected to each other and out of the haze of technology. If visiting Germany and are staying at one of the Dusseldorf trade fair hotels, then there couldn’t be a better place to partake in such activities.

Elvis Lives on in Dusseldorf


German fans of Elvis Presley no longer have to travel to Graceland to feel the true spirit of ‘The King’. That’s because Dusseldorf is now home to the biggest museum solely dedicated to Elvis Presley outside of the United States.
